    1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour,
    1 cup granulated sugar,
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder,
     teaspoon baking powder,
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda,
    1/2 teaspoon salt,
    1/2 cup vegetable oil,
    1/2 cup buttermilk,
    2 eggs,
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract,
    1/2 cup raspberry preserves,
    1/2 cup heavy cream,
    4 ounces semisweet chocolate,
    1 pint fresh raspberries,
    1 ounce semisweet chocolate, shaved
  
Recipe Instructions:

1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans,

2: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. 

3: In a separate bowl, mix together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla.

4: Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

5: Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

6: Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then turn them out onto wire racks to cool completely.
